FAQ
  • What’s the difference between medical and customized massage?
Medical massage requires a physician referral and focuses on specific conditions like sciatica or arthritis, often covered by insurance. Customized sessions are flexible, blending various techniques for relaxation or therapeutic goals.

  • What should I expect?
Your session begins with a brief consultation to discuss your goals and health history, followed by tailored techniques in a calming, professional environment. Expect a personalized experience designed for your comfort and relief.

  • What should I bring?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to your appointment. For medical massage, you must submit a valid physician referral form prior to your session. Please bring a valid ID and your insurance card for medical massage billing. We also recommend a water bottle to stay hydrated post-session. All other essentials, like linens, are provided in our relaxing Wasilla studio. [See Policies & Forms]

  • Can I combine medical and customized sessions?
Yes, you can combine medical and customized sessions in one visit to address both specific medical conditions (e.g., sciatica) and relaxation or other therapeutic goals. The medical massage portion requires a physician referral and may be billed through insurance. The customized portion is billed separately at our already discounted rates and is not covered by insurance. Discuss your needs with your therapist during the consultation to create a tailored hybrid session.

  • Are packages or discounts available?
We do not offer package deals, as our prices for customized sessions are already set at a discounted rate to provide affordable, high-quality care.

  • How do I prepare for my first appointment?
When you schedule your first appointment, we’ll email you an intake form to complete and return before your visit to save time. For medical massage, ensure your physician referral is submitted in advance. Arrive 5–10 minutes early to relax and discuss your goals with your therapist.
